New Amazon already came in today :D This time I had ordered an absolute classic: “The Ultimate Hitchhiker’s Guide” by Douglas Adams. This is one of those books I wanted to read for ages but always forgot to order. Now the hardcover-with-leather edition was in stock for the same price as the paperback, so I naturally got the leather edition ;-)
Then I also ordered all 3 Naked Gun movies as well as the book “The Eugeneics Wars” by Greg Cox. I always loved the whole storyline around Khan Noonien Singh, so I’m quick shocked that I missed this book (which is part of a 3-parts mini-series).

GameVideos.com - Mirror’s Edge ‘Escape Demo’ clip Video

GameVideos has new gameplay footage of Mirror Edge for the PS3 which for the first time IIRC also shows some combat. But while the enemies so far look rather stiff, it’s just great that you are rewarded for not shooting anyone. Another game to look forward to for me :D

GameVideos.com - 1UP Show: Killzone 2 Preview Video

Ignoring some sounds problems I actually liked the first Killzone for the PS2 and the second full console installment of the franchise looks really great so far. Can’t wait for me :D

It’s really nice what kind of flora you can find on your way to work. I’ve drove on this road for many years now, and never noticed it :D

Whitey - “Wrap it Up”

NJ Whitey is definitely reclusive, especially on the internet, and I’m not even sure if that’s his real name. “Wrap it Up” is off of his first EP and one of his most playful and popular songs. Most of his tracks are simple yet unique layers of electronica and alternative rock elements. His voice and lyrics are delightfully dark, but watch what mockery Whitey has you singing aloud.

Whitey has produced and remixed for Bloc Party, and he’s opened for bands like New Order and LCD Soundsystem. The Light at the End of the Tunnel is a Train is currently his only album. He released a new single “Stay On the Outside” in 2007, and a new album is due anytime now.

4th of July

Well, some people definitely like being at the office :-) And I’m definitely glad, we don’t have any surveillance cameras in our building ;-)

With rising gas prices, why not think about purchasing a YUGO!

With the best slogan every: “Everybody needs a YUGO sometimes” and not to say a little bit political incorrect ;-)
